Dear Friends,
It's with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. Over the past couple of years, I've grappled with a health issue that has profoundly altered my artistic journey. Despite my best efforts and exhaustive attempts to mitigate the situation, I can no longer tolerate exposure to the inks I once loved working with.
The onset of Covid and its lingering effects on my health have forced me to confront a difficult reality: I must bid farewell to a medium that has been central to my artistic expression. It's a decision born out of necessity, one that comes with a profound sense of loss.
These past few years have been a struggle to pursue any avenue that would lead to complete healing, but some things are just beyond our control. They've kept me tethered to a place I no longer wish to inhabit, stifling my creativity and dampening my spirit. And so, I've made the decision to embrace change—to turn the page and embark on a journey of rediscovery. I may have lost my connection to a medium I love, but I refuse to lose sight of my artistic voice. I am determined to find it again—to reclaim my identity as an artist.
In the coming days, weeks, and months, I will be focusing on finding my footing, exploring new avenues of creative expression, and carving out a space for myself in the surface and pattern design realm..
To all those who have supported me along this journey, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Your unwavering encouragement and steadfast belief in my abilities have been a source of strength and inspiration. As I embark on this new chapter, I invite you to join me—to walk alongside me as I navigate a new avenue of creativity, and learn many new things.
Change is never easy, but it is often necessary for growth and transformation. Thank you for being a part of my journey. Whether you are a fellow artist, collector, or simply someone who shares a passion for creativity, I hope you’ll join me as I embark on this exciting new adventure.
