Thanks for stopping by to have a look around my online creative space. I am thrilled that you are here. I am Heidi, the face behind Heidi Stavinga Studio. I live in Dunedin Florida with my husband, our 6 kids and 2 pups. I am so very blessed to be able to do what I love, which is paint. My passion for painting began as a teenager; however, my love of alcohol inks began over 5 years ago with a few colors and a couple pieces of yupo paper. After the first few pieces of paper were filled with vibrant colors, I was hooked! I draw a lot of my inspiration from the ocean, my absolute favorite subjects to paint are sea turtles, but pretty much any animal is fair play. Along with animals you can find me teaching the ink techniques that I use, to paint almost anything, from portraits to landscapes.
